The festival
SBTRKT, WTF, BRB, TNT. We bloody lovez a good vowel-less verb in England we do. And why not? It's fun, and confusing, which just makes it more fun. RVLRY festival isn't confusing (shame) but it is really good. A mixture of art, fashion, jewellery and music, it's a great festival for lovers of London life and people who never learnt their ol' a e i o u. And there are people like that out there.
Taking place in association with Roxx, a West London pop up (with one vowel, thank god), it's a great way to kick off the Autumn festival season, when things get more indoorsy, more intimate, and maybe just a little bit sweaty. Mmmmm, fun.
An indoor warehouse festival, you'll be safe from the rain, safe from the wind, but not safe from warehouses, if you are afraid of those. Live music is followed by two rooms (not one, like the festival) of DJ's, with deep house in one and disco/house/rock & roll in the other. We'd prefer if they mixed them all together like a big, confusing musical soup, but, you can't have it all. if you're hungry though, there are food trucks. They aren't trucks made of food, that would be silly. Instead it's Kurobuta, which is lovely Japanese food. Nice.
Our tip
If you are going to emit vowels from your words, don't do it on a mortgage application or you won't get one and you'll have to live with Mum and Dad forever.
