The basics

Lollapalooza is one of America's best loved festivals, and now, alongside iterations in Brazil and Chile, they've spread to Germany.

The festival

Do you know what the Germans do well? They do sausages well. They also do chips and mayonnaise well. They do cars well. They do potato salad FUCKING well. But they also do clubs really well – the Germans know how to party. So surely that stretches to festivals? Why not?

Now, Lollapalooza is an American institution, but giving it a German injection can ony work wonders. They'll be able to bag big acts but they can also throw a good bunch of German acts at the audience, which will be nice.

And just think of all the sodding sausages!

Our tip

Berlin is just about the best city ever invented, so make sure you do a bit of exploring before or after the festival.
