The basics

If North America’s on your to-do list this summer, pop into Montreal for a powerhouse parade of today’s performers.

The festival

Do you know where’s nice in August? Montreal! Set on Ile Ste-Hélène in the middle of the river in Montreal, Osheaga is all rolling pasture and lush forest and yet it’s only a stone’s throw from one of North America’s biggest metropolises. Perfect if you’d rather not do without a shower for three days and prefer a hotel breakfast to a packet of soggy crisps you left outside the tent all night.

Having come from nothing to become one of Canada’s biggest festivals in five years, Osheaga is a straight up music love-in with an impressive cast list every year. It brings together today’s biggest performers and if you’re lucky you’ll find an after party or two taking place in Montreal…

Our tip

Get your VIP on. Gold Pass holders have exclusive access to a two level ‘terrasse’ [sic] with a premium view of the two main stages and VIP bathrooms.
