The festival
Set in the Gorge, a gorgeous (boom boom) outdoor concert venue in Washington in the States, Sasquatch makes the most of the amazing views of the Columbia river and Cascade mountains, it’s often rated as one of the most picturesque outdoor music spots in the world with plenty of grassed hills to sit on and watch the world go by. Just crying out for a festival then!
In 2014, the festival added more vegan, local and veggie food stands to the arena, brought in organic coffees and introduced different classes of campsite, for the discerning festival goer. And with Seattle and Portland not a million miles away, you can expect plenty of friendly, organic style left-leaning folks.
While the line up is always stellar, pray for good weather and expect the setting to steal the show.
Our tip
Upgrade to a ‘superticket’ for access to a VIP on site club, free beer and food on site, better viewing areas and swankier toilets. Still not enough? Add a luxury furnished safari tent and dedicated concierge to pretend you’re in a hotel with benefits.

How do I get there?
There is no public transport to the site.
The nearest private bus stop is about 15 miles away in Quincy, WA. You must either rent a car; coordinate a ride or car pool.
Travelling by Car:
Directions from Seattle, WA: Take I-90 east and exit #143 Gorge Amphitheatre. Follow Amphitheatre signs approximately 6 miles.
Directions from Spokane, WA: Take I-90 west and exit #149 Gorge Amphitheatre. Follow Amphitheatre signs approximately 7 miles.
Directions from Quincy, WA: Take Highway 281 south, Beverly-Burke Road, Gorge Amphitheatre. Follow Amphitheatre signs approximately 7 miles.
Directions from Portland, OR: Take I-84 east, Hwy 97 north, I-90 east, exit #143. Follow Amphitheatre signs approximately 6 miles.
Directions from Vancouver, BC: Take I-5 south to I-90 eastbound. Follow I-90 east to exit #143 Gorge Amphitheatre. Follow Amphitheatre signs approximately 6 miles.
