The festival
Spitalfields Music is based in Tower Hamlets, London, working to bring together world class artists and local people for music projects that affect positive change. They put together two annual festivals in Summer and Winter.The seasonal festivals have totally different flavours but the focus is on classical music old and new, and creating a platform for local community projects. The summer festival is larger and more eclectic in terms of programme and venues.
There are multiple venues for the festival across central London, from cool contemporary spaces to beautiful historic buildings.
