Featuring all the biggest names in American country, rock and roots music, Tortuga Music Festival is a 3-day multi-stage music festival on Florida's Fort Lauderdale beach.
The festival
Tortuga Music Festival is Americana to the core, so pack your stars and stripes bikini for this one.
If you like male American musicians who wouldn't be seen dead wearing less than five pieces of jewellery, the line-ups will get you pretty excited. Country and roots music is the order of the day, bringing in a mixed crowd of everyone from young families to twenty-somethings.
The festival has a big heart too, which is always nice. In collaboration with Rock the Ocean, the festival aims to raise awareness for marine conservation; so far $250,000 has been raised by the festival for the world's oceans. Part of your ticket will go as a donation towards the cause, so you can already start feeling smug, but while you're there, check out the Conservation Village for more ideas on how to help, plus plenty of marine-themed fun.

Getting there
How do I get there?
Parking
No official festival parking at the festival, so you are encouraged NOT to drive to the festival.
Shuttles
There will be a Park N' Ride Shuttle Program operating throughout the festival. Anyone who has purchased a shuttle pass will be able to park for FREE at the Galleria Mall, in a designated parking area, and then ride the shuttle to and from the festival each day. The shuttle will drop off close to the festival's Main Entrance and will run continuously throughout the day. Shuttle hours will be updated later in the year.
Water Taxis
Water Taxis are run out of the Riverwalk in the Las Olas Riverfront Area, and will drop off at the Bahia Mar Marina at the Fire Station across the street from the festival. Water Taxi passes include parking at the One River Plaza parking garage. The Festival Water Taxi hours will be updated later in the year.
